General Information
.
.

We're the Medical Student for Peace and Social Responsibility, the student organisation of IPPNW, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1985 for its work towards world peace and world health.

Students from all over Europe are expected to come - we're calculating with somewhere around 100 participants. Especially the Eastern European countries will be represented at this meeting.

Topics will be, amongst others, the ongoing threat of nuclear arms and medicine in social responsibility. Additional workshops will be offered by the European-Palestinian Refugee Camp Project (ReCap), the Nuclear Weapons Inheritance Project (NWIP) and several other student initiatives.

Interesting guest speakers, engaging discussions, interactive workshops, evenings of fun and of course a lot of good vibes - that's the ingrediewnts that make European Student Congresses such great events. Amongst other highlights a visit to a Nuclear Power Plant is scheduled as well as a tour through the beautiful city center of St. Petersburg. Also, a new European Student Representative will be elected.

Don't miss this great opportunity to get to know IPPNW, meet active medical students form all over Europe, participate in international student projects and visit this wonderful city.
