Following the German IPPNW Student Conference in the Baltic seaport city of Rostock, a group of medical students from all over Germany took to the street of Rostock's beachfront suburb of Warnemuende, where they positioned themselves in the trendy cafe district around the historical lighthouse.and approached pedestrians with information about the ongoing threat nuclear weapons post to Europe and especially the region around the Baltic Sea even today.

The event was a successful chance to go out and inform the public - people who don't necessarily knwo that nuclear weapons are still pointed at Western Europe and that US nuclear weapons are still stationed in Germany and other European countries, pointed at our Eastern neighbors and posing not only a problem of  immorality, but also a very clear danger to our health.
