On September 29th,
2008 Physicians for Global Survival hosted a Target
X event in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in conjunction with the
Prescriptions for Survival Conference. Students placed a large
red X
in Victoria Park and handed out fact sheets about the consequences of
nuclear war to passersby. In conjunction soup was provided to the
public courtesy of Feed Nova Scotia. The event was successful in
educating many people to the continuing threat of nuclear war.
