Accomodation: Accommodation can be arranged with physician members of the IPPNW affiliate, free of charge. Breakfast & dinner could be provided free of charge. Students would be responsible for lunch and transport expenses.

Clinical training: Obstetrics & Gynecology, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Child Health, Nursing.
Duration: Eight weeks; best if applicants have previous experience living or working in a developing country.
Available Months: 10 months of the year, excluding February and March.
Social Service Component: Research opportunities at Zambian orphanages or refugee camps.
Maximum number of students per Year: No more than two students at a time.
Required level of Studies: Clinical course experience would be beneficial, though not required.
Health Insurance and other documents: There are no strict health insurance requirements, but it is advisable that the MedEx student would obtain insurance for the period of stay.
