Accomodation: Expenses for accommodation and meals are to be borne by the candidates themselves. The essential living cost will be around Euro 200 a month. Accomodation can be arranged with IPPNW physicians.
Clinical training: Students can do clerkship in any of the following departments:
- Internal Medicine
- Surgery
- Gynecology and Obstetrics
- Pediatrics
- Community Medicine
It would be much easier to organize if you choose the option in advance but it can be modified after your arrival either according to your wish or the objective situational changes in our institution. That means the arrangements may be quite flexible.
Duration of Clinical Training: 3 wks.
Available Months: Any Month but preferably from November to May
Social Service Component: Social Activities: "The student will be posted to the community health care centers in rural districts as well as in urban-rural settings located in the vacinity of kathmandu as well, as far as 20 to 200 km from kathmandu. (we have four community based health centers under Public Health Concern Trust - well reputed Nepali organization working in the field of community health - in different districts). He/She can be involved in regular Health Camps that are organized for poor and needy population. As per the candidate's interest, one can participate in several interactions with ethnic Nepali people and enjoy the wonderful Himalayan culture that is world renouned for its grandeur.

Required level of Studies: Students who have started clinical exposure are preferred
