Accomodation: MedEx students would be required to cater to their own accommodation and meals. There are a many youth hostels conviniently located near the hospital. Students would not require transport to and from the hospital. Estimate: The total cost for meals and accommodation for the one month would not exceed $400.
Clinical training: Medicine ,Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics

Social Service Component: Choices include :
- small arms research and/or advocacy
- visits to the refugee camps in the city of Nairobi and/or Northern Kenya to research the effects of war
- visiting orphans from HIV/AIDS for the purposes of reseach or advocacy

Required level of Studies: The student should be about to join or be already in their clinical years. Pre-clinical students would not qualify as rotations would require the student to visit wards.
Language Requirements: English is sufficient.
Health Insurance and other documents: There are no strict health insurance requirements, but it is advisable that the MedEx student would obtain insurance for the period of stay.
