Motivation and goals
I would
like to introduce my self to whom who don't know me, My name is :
Ahmed Abde-ElMaksoud Saada, 6th year Medical student at Mansoura
Faculty of Medicine - Egypt. I am currently carrying the responsibility
of the Regional Student representation in the Middle east since last
Pre- Congress students' meeting in Beijing 2004.
I started
my involvement in the IPPNW students movement since 2002 when I joined
the local Affiliate in Mansoura, then I continued gaining the
experiences and participating in the activities on the national,
regional and the international levels through establishing the Med-Ex
project in Egypt and establishing good communications with students in
my region and internationally.
As being
the National student rep for the Egyptian Medical Students for Social
Responsibility (EMSSR) 2003-2006 I am working with our President
Dr.Ahmed Geneid who was a previous International Student
Representative, I gained alot of experiences regarding the
international communications and the responsibities of the
international rep.
And as
Being the Regional Rep for the middle east 2004-2006 , I had the chance
for continuous communications with both international Reps. for the
current two year ( Alex and Khagen ) that enable me to learn alot
of things and talents from them specially in the field of conflicts
management, problem solving and planning.
Being from
Egypt and the middle east, makes me able to represent the southern
students specially that I am located in the hottest spot in
the south area in which you will find an example inside it for
each problem or conflict in the world.
for about 4
years I have been involved in the IFMSA work ( 2002 - 2005 ) that
enabled me to build a good cooperation between IPPNW local chapter and
the Local IFMSA group in Mansoura specially in the field of Exchange.
which represent a previous experience for two organizations
collaboration to achieve a common aim
All these
reasons beside my great interest and motivation , encouraged me to
apply on the position of the International Student Representative for
the year 2006-2008.
