Medical Exchange ProgramWe welcomed a group of British medical students from the mid of April until the begining of May 2005. As a part of our bilateral medical axchange programme we sent two Palstinian medical students to do their elective in UK in surgery at Mnchester hospital. They are active IPPNW members, Mahmoud Shaeikh and Mohammad Swilih. They spent two months in UK and they met members of MEDSIN (British IFMSA) and MEDACT (British IPPNW). Our student chapter regulated every thing for them including the money of transportation. Mohammad Maree was in charge of these activities. Also see the project's website. Palestinian Book ProjectMahmoud Abuissah is organizing this project, which aims to bring used medical books in English language to Palestinian medical students. Also see the project's website.
