| Introduction |
I am Tamar
Shashikadze from Georgia and an Alumni of the St. Petersburg
Postgraduate Academy. Currently I'm working as a
psychotherapist-sexologist. I joined IPPNW in 2006 and since then I
actively continue collaboration with this organization. On behalf of
IPPNW, I have organized three Target-X installations in St. Petersburg
(Russia) and Batumi (Georgia), furthermore, through the event “Candles
of Peace “ organized recently in Batumi, I could manage to interest and
promote the peace and movement against Nuclear Weapon. Besides, I have
participated in various conferences as well as meetings and had
wonderful opportunity to be an active participant of the BBT and the
OTT.

Motivation
|
This
is going to be the third IPPNW bike tour for me and I am extremely
motivated as I do not want to miss my chance to once again make a
contribution to the loud call for finally removing the last remnants of
the Cold War from Europe and make the world free of Nuclear Power.
Besides. This bike tour is the best way for me to interact with people
of common ideas and goals. I am sure, I will be a valuable addition to
your team and I believe we will make a long lasting effect to bring
peace to the world and get rid of the nuclear power.
