Liability Exclusion

Anyone who wishes to participate in the IPPNW Biking against Nuclear Weapons Tour 2010 must be above the legal age of 18 and does so entirely on his own risk. Neither IPPNW nor any of the national affiliates in Germany, France or Switzerland take responsibility, as this is purely a self-organized tour. All in all, cycling through Germany, France and Switzerland is a very safe and uncomplicated undertaking, but as with any sporting event, the risk of injury cannot entirely be excluded. We as organizers will of course do our very best to minimize the risk to each individual cyclist by taking only safe bike paths whereever possible and by keeping the group together. We will distribute the practical guides to safe group cycling befroe we start and will advise the cyclists on potential hazards  beforehand. Also, the risk of theft or other nuisances is relatively low along the route we're taking, but cannot entirely be ruled out. That is why we will take special precautions in guarding our bikes and belongings on the route. We strongly advise every cyclist to have his/her own medical and liability insurance.
