| Introduction |
I am Paata
Dzidziguri from Batumi, Georgia. I am an Alumni of the St. Petersburg
Postgraduate Academy, a psychotherapist and an active member of IPPNW
since 2007. I found out about IPPNW from Tamar Shashikadze and after
getting some orientation about the organization and its goals, I got
immediately involved in its activities and organized the first Target X
in Georgia in 2007. Besides, I also participated actively in the
meetings held in Helsinki (IPPNW European and CIS Regional meeting), as
well as the workshop weekend of NWIP in Aachen, Germany in 2009 and
later on even co-facilitated the flashmob “Candles of Peace”.

Motivation
|
I am
looking forward to participating in this bike tour, and I consider this
event very useful and important, as this is my first international bike
tour outside of my country. The idea to meet several young bikers, as
well as politicians and other important people united under one goal –
to bring peace and help Europe free itself from Nuclear Power. What is
also very important is my concern as a doctor, that so many people die
because of Nuclear Power and endless wars in Pakistan, Iraq, etc.
That’s why, with the help of this bike tour, I want to vote for Peace
and freedom from Nuclear Power.
