| Introduction |
I am a 27 year old doctor from the most western
city, Aachen, in Germany, but now I left my country to start working in
Walenstadt,
Switzerland. I have no active experiences with IPPNW but I was active
in social
and catholic organizations all my youth.

Motivation
|
I first heard of IPPNW in a workshop
about humanity
in medicine which was organized by students of my university and I
really
noticed how I support the ideas of IPPNW without knowing about the
organization
before. I want to do something beside working, something that has a
deeper meaning
to me than the so called civilisatory diseases. I already travelled a
lot,
worked in Thailand and India as a student and got in contact with many
people who
feel helpless against our politics and structures. I like to
participate to get
to know students and doctors from IPPNW, to get new energy to fight the
daily fight to stay human in the medical system and to express my
worries about
the nuclear problems in public.
