| Introduction |
I'm André Michel - a truly European chap. Though I've
lived in French Canada most of my childhood, I studied in Ireland and
am currently working as a doctor in Switzerland. Three separate flags
wouldn't fit in the participants' list, though, so I count as a Swiss
this time ;) I've been involved in IPPNW ever since the European
Student Congress in Dublin in 2004 and have participated in the
legendary Baltic Bike Tour in 2006. This year, I'm helping organize the
World Congress in Basel and am looking forward to another great IPPNW
bike tour.

Motivation
|
I share with my fellow bikers a deep
regret for the fact that despite the end of the Cold War, we Europeans
have still not managed to ban nuclear weapons from our soil and
continue to live in the danger of such a weapon being used, maniulated,
stolen or tampered with. I hope that this bike tour shakes some people
awake to this fact.
